With a background in Mechanical and Manufacturing Systems Engineering, Joel is our resident mecha-genius handyman. Joel is responsible for all our engineering related patent work. His portfolio includes conducting patent searches and analyses, patent drafting, as well as responding to objections from the patent office.

A prolific writer, Joel is also responsible for keeping us and our readers informed of all the hottest happenings and lowdown in the IP world with his scintillating articles.

Experience 

Before joining Gordian, Joel had many years of experience working as a Senior Patent Executive in a local intellectual property firm where he acquired an extensive experience in handling various patent matters. Prior to that, Joel had also worked in an engineering firm which gave him valuable insights into the field of civil engineering and geotechnical work.
